The NBA IS BACK! 

The 2020-21 NBA season will begin on Dec. 22. starting with preseason. TONIGHT.

The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association announced on Nov. 9th that they’ve struck a deal on rules for the 2020-21 season and we’re a go. — Seems like only yesterday the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA title. Well, that was October 22 so yeah, it does kind of feel like yesterday.

The First half of the regular season begins on Dec. 22, 2020 and runs till March 4, 2021.

All-Star break runs from March 5-10, 2021. —

Then the Second half of regular season starts on March 11 and runs till May 16, 2021.

Playoffs should begin May 18-21, 2021.

The NBA is planning on 25-50 percent capacity in arena suites and In the preseason, each team will play a minimum of two and a max of four games per the NBA’s 49-game preseason schedule.

Each team will play 72 regular-season games — 10 games fewer than in a normal, 82-game regular season. — The NBA took the lead from the beginning as it relates to the coronavirus and set the tone for the rest of the country. Moving forward let’s have faith that they have learned enough to continue to facilitate a good a NBA season safely.
