As a homeowner, one of the worst things, well let’s say expenses, that you can have is repairing your roof. Now imagine being on a fixed-income, a hole in your roof, rainwater pouring in, and on top of that – being scammed by a roofer. That is exactly what happened to a grandmother in Philadelphia’s Port Richmond section of the city. She paid a roofer $500 and he took her money but never fixed her roof. She did file a police report, however, that will not get her roof fixed.
But thanks to two Philadelphia police officers, and Clarence E. Smith Roofing, she has a new roof, free of charge! I guess we can say Christmas came early for this grandmother. AND it goes to show that some police officers just might be a Santa Claus in disguise!
