HBCU Battle of the Legends: Michael Vick vs. DeSean Jackson
Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field hosted a historic showdown as two former Philadelphia Eagles stars, Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson, faced off as head coaches in the first-ever HBCU Battle of the Legends. Delaware State University edged out a 27-20 Norfolk State University to improve to 6-3 on the year, while Norfolk state is 1-8 and remains winless in conference play.
“For me, it’s all about discipline and the mindset,” Jackson said. “Not everyone will make it to the NFL, but I want to ensure these young men walk across that stage with a degree.”
