Amtrak Suspended Between Philadelphia And New York

Amtrak Northeast services are temporarily suspended between Philadelphia and New York on Monday morning due to wire damage.

The company posted this update via their social media outlets. They noted that services should resume around 12 p.m. this afternoon. With this suspension, it also delays rails for the New Jersey Transit lines as well.

Amtrak customers with ride insurance were able to rearrange their train times due to the suspension. Amtrak has not mentioned if the compensated riders without ride insurance for missing their trains.
