Jalen Hurts on never wearing Super Bowl LIX ring: “I’ve Moved On”

One of the most illustrious pieces of jewelry an athlete can wear is the championship ring for being apart of the best team in their respective league. However, when the process is more rewarding than the present, a little bling-bling doesn’t mean a thing-thing.
Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts share similar sentiments in an Eagles press conference Wednesday (July 23), as he has put the past behind him and made winning another NFL championship his next goal.
When asked about receiving the Super Bowl ring, Hurts did not hold back on his raw emotions.
“It was honestly surreal… to see it in person.. not nostalgic, but to see something that you’ve earned, having a moment to appreciate that one last time… kinda overdue, in terms of what it was supposed to be initially (refering to Super Bowl LIII)” Hurts explained. “But you know, it was a moment… and that moment is behind us.”
Hurts has been known to give some amazing quotes in his time as an Eagle, but was then asked why he was never seen sporting his championship bling, his response might’ve taken the cake for best reply of all time.
