Hall of Famer Allen Iverson says he’s feeling better than ever after giving up alcohol. In a recent interview with CBS Mornings about his new memoir Misunderstood, Iverson reflected on how quitting drinking changed everything. “It was one of the best decisions that I ever made,” he said, adding that he now feels “better than I did when I was doing it.” The former 76ers superstar shared that alcohol once clouded his true self, but sobriety has brought him clarity and confidence. Iverson says the love and support from those around him make the transformation even more rewarding. Now, at peace and fully present, the basketball icon is embracing a healthier, more authentic version of himself.
