Divas Simply Singing! is back for its 35th anniversary, promising a star-studded evening of music and impact. Hosted by Sheryl Lee Ralph on November 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Hollywood’s Taglyan Cultural Complex, the gala will feature performances from Andra Day, Mickey Guyton, Jenifer Lewis, and Loretta Devine. Additional performances include Lalah Hathaway, James Pickens, Gina Taylor-Pickens, Freda Payne, and India Shawn. Ralph emphasized the event’s mission, saying, “This gala is more than just a celebration—it is a powerful call to action. For 35 years, we have unwaveringly committed to our mission through song, purpose, and service.” This year’s event continues to honor the organization’s rich history while advancing health equity through music and community engagement.
