Do you need to recycle your Christmas tree? Philadelphia’s annual tree recycling begins Monday, Jan. 4, through Saturday, Jan.16. Philly residents can drop off a tree to be recycled. Check this out – Goats are partaking in this too!  Yes, goats will be chewing on the trees! So please make sure that the trees are free of all decorations and untied.  If decorations are still on the tree, it cannot be recycled.

So don’t just throw your tree to the curb this year! Help out the environment and RECYCLE IT!

Philly residents can drop off trees at any of these locations:

City Sanitation Centers – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Saturday:
