Alex Trebek broke the news yesterday in a video message to tell his Jeopardy family that he has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and that he will continue to fight it till the end.
Although stage 4 means the disease has spread to other parts of the body the cancer typically can’t be cured at that stage, but it can be treated.
The 78-year-old has been the host of Jeopardy since its debuted in1984.
