Now that all charges have been dropped against Jussie Smollett, Chicago Mayor is considering taking the Empire actor to court himself.
According to sources, Mayor Emanuel wants to sue Smollett for $150,000 to recoup the cost of the city’s investigation into his alleged staging of a hate crime attack.
On Tuesday, charges against Smollett were dropped in exchange for 16 hours of community service and a $10,000 bond which Smollett forfeited to the city.
