Prayers and condolences go out to the family and friends of Oscar-nominated writer and director John Singleton who has passed at the age of 51.
The Singleton family says “he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends.” Singleton had been in a coma following a stroke 12 days earlier.
John was responsible for flourishing acting careers for stars like Tupac Shakur, Regina King, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Ice Cube, Tyrese and Taraji P. Henson.
