After a two-year hiatus, Lady B’s basement party was back and in full effect at Rivers Casino! Hundreds of listeners crowded the lobby hours before the event started! The people showed up and showed out for a packed house event!
Music and dance moves was all Lady B’s basement party was about, along with our special vendors selling their finest products, and a ticket raffle that kept everyone on the edge of their seats hoping to win something big! Coffee makers, 50” flat screen TV’s, there was even a PlayStation 5 up for grabs! One special couple who was awarded best dressed, was gifted two Diamond studded Bulova watches courtesy Unclaimed Diamonds!
“I love Lady B! I had a great time, she represents Philly to the fullest and we love her show! And she gives away the best prizes! Thank you so much Lady B!” A fan shouted, as she walked home with an air fryer.
A big highlight of the night was the ceremonial moment in which we celebrated DJ Touchtone and his 25 years of service to Radio One Philadelphia. After an overwhelming acknowledgment from the crowd, Touchtone responded “Two words… thank you — thank you for listening, thank you for riding with me — and I love y’all for loving me!”. Touchtone humbly returned to the DJ booth and kept the party moving as we danced the night away!
