Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg will be returning behind the desk to report on what happened in the year 2021. The 75-minute special will be airing on NBC’s streaming platform Peacock.

Apparently the special is being described as “an edgy, insightful, and hilarious retrospective of a year that began with so much promise, but mostly turned into a sequel of the s*** show that was 2020.”  In layman’s terms, we will get to see Kevin and Snoop reprise their roles as carefree NBC news anchors.

If you didn’t know that Kevin and Snoop are NBC’s newest and best reporters, you should’ve have been tuned into the 2020 Summer Olympic coverage. Needless to say they stole the show.

Peacock – Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart & Snoop Dogg

The clips of ‘Olympic Highlights’ with Kevin and Snoop has garnered millions of views on YouTube and countless more on social media. So the news of them getting another chance to bring concise on events that happened this year, is a no-brainer. ‘Olympic Highlights’ isn’t Kevin and Snoop’s first venture into producing content for NBC.

Currently Kevin has another Peacock talk-show based series called Hart to Heart.

Snoop has been a frequent correspondent for NBC’s Sunday Night Football.

2021 and Done With Snoop Dogg & Kevin Hart will air Tuesday, December 28 on Peacock. The show is produced by Hart’s LOL Studios and Snoop Dogg’s Snoopadelic Films. The all-star duo will be accompanied by a slew of stars like Mark Cuban, DJ D-Nice, DL Hughley, Loni Love, Killer Mike, William Shatner, Stephen A. Smith and Michael Strahan.

Peacock has already released a snippet of the anchors speaking to a respected guest.

The entertainment they have produced through their own avenues hasn’t gone unnoticed, especially if a media network wants to attach their brand to yours. The idea of having non-traditional commentators isn’t far fetched anymore. For example, TNT’s ‘NBA on TNT’ has been a powerhouse in that market for decades now.  The two superstars probably have another special special in the works. But who knows maybe they’ll just build on what they’ve already done, and do it on their own.

Congrats to Kevin and Snoop.
