Baseball fans everywhere were treated to a delightful surprise on Thursday afternoon.
During Major League Baseball’s 2nd Annual Field of Dreams Game, baseball legends Ken Griffey Sr. and Ken Griffey Jr. showed up to bless the cameras again for another performance. Instead of the father-son duo launching baseballs into the heavens, they acted out a scene from the Kevin Costner led baseball film, Field of Dreams.
The “Playing Catch” scene was put on display before the game, and if you understand the Griffeys’ story through baseball, the reenactment could bring a tear to your eyes.

The Hall of Fame Griffeys are the only father-son duo to play on the same team together in MLB history. They have a combined 782 career home runs and it’s always been clear that they have always shared a strong bond.
