The Wayans family can never stop making things funny and CBS agrees.

According to Deadline, Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. are set to star in a father-son multi-camera comedy. This would mark Damon Wayans’ return to network comedy after he co-created, executive produced and starred in ABC’s My Wife and Kids, which ran on ABC for five seasons from 2001-05. The new project is currently untitled, but the premise of the show has been revealed.

The television show exposes viewers to legendary talk radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” (Wayans), who has the pleasure of training his grown son (Wayans Jr.), who has all his charm and none of his drive, into adulthood before he turns 40. A 40-year-old man-baby sounds like a problem. Of course the show will be produced and written by both Damons. They will be getting some help from former Last Man Standing executive producer Kevin Hench.

Since this being developed by Wayans Jr’s Two Shakes Entertainment, viewers shouldn’t be surprised if other members of the Wayans family happen to pop-up within the show.

We for one, will not be.
