Uber drivers in Philadelphia are joining six other major cities in a strike by turning off the app for 12 hours on May 8th, which means no rides for customers during that time. Drivers are protesting over poor working conditions and low pay.

  The Justice Department announced that 60 people across five states, including more than 30 physicians, were charged in connection with millions of illegal opioid prescription. The states are Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and West Virginia. According to the Justice Department, the suspects wrote over 350,000 prescriptions and distributed 32 million pills.
